The Sprinkle Genies Saturday September 21st THE PEOPLE’S GARDEN

Saturday September 21st THE PEOPLE’S GARDEN Corner of Greene and Broadway in Bushwick (Equal distance between the Koszciusko and Gates stops on the J train) 5:30 – SPRINKLE GENIES 6:30 – MESIKO DJ music and potluck from 4pm on, and then again later into the night.

It’s difficult to describe the scene that gathers here, so we suggest you just come see for yourself. All are welcome, (its a daytime-into-early-evening event) so bring the kids too, they love running around in this fun and enclosed space, looking at the chickens, etc. (Yes, there are chickens.) It is also a potluck so please bring some small amount of food and drink to share – there is a deli next door that supplies the power to make these musical Saturdays happen, so we encourage you to buy beverages from them.

Lastly but not leastly, we are playing with another awesome band, MESIKO, featuring Little Silver’s drummer, Ray Rizzo, on drums and vocals. This will be a very celebratory show, so please join us!

The Sprinkle Genies “Ooh sha la”
What happens when you mix 1 part Rolling Stones with 1 part B-52’s and toss with 1 part garbage-can drums, and add a pinch of violin and mandolin then garnish with a dash of twin baby burblings and cat meowings? “Ooh sha la” by The Sprinkle Genies is what happens!
